PATHFINDERS INTERNSHIP

a year to pursue God, self, and others in a Christian community

A Lake Beauty internship designed for young adults. The Pathfinders Internship focuses on developing interns through hands-on ministry opportunities supplemented with a  practical curriculum focusing on personal identity and ministry practices.

As part of the Pathfinders Internship, you will become an equipped, refined, and lasting disciple of Christ with ample opportunities to serve and lead others in Christ's name. By taking part in hosting guest groups throughout the retreat season and being apart of summer staff, you will help others encounter the living God through a high-quality Christian camping experience.

This is more than an internship; it is a year to pursue God, self, and others in a Christian community.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hands-On
Experience

Work alongside full-time staff in multiple areas of Lake Beauty's camping ministry to acquire hands-on experience in the following departments: Guest Services, Program, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food Service.

Biblical
Teachings

A curriculum focusing on Christian identity and ministry will be taught weekly. This class will use the Bible to guide interns in their own personal formation journeys, as well as provide space to reflect on their internship experience.

Sacred
Moments

Three impactful trips are planned into the schedule of the interns' year-long experience. These off-camp experiences will provide interns opportunities to connect with God and prepare  for the next phase of their overall experience.

Intentional
Discipleship

Interns will join the greater Lake Beauty community to partake in an edifying system of Christian discipleship. Interns will have an abundance of caring adults who are willing to support and guide them as they walk towards Christian maturity.
