Our Annual Spring Work Day was a rousing, though rainy success!  Adding in the Confirmation Retreat crew from 1st Covenant Willmar who volunteered time this morning, we counted 84 volunteers who gave of their time and energy to help us open and clean cabins, split wood, clean chairs and pick up stick/branches in the campground area.  Congratulations to our Gold, Silver and Bronze Hammer Award winners for 2010:

Gold Hammer Award (most number of people here):  1st Covenant, Willmar MN (26 people)

Silver Hammer Award (farthest distance travelled): Braham Covenant, Braham MN (95 miles)

Bronze Hammer Award (best percentage of membership here): Braham Covenant, Braham MN (13.79%)

We are excited that over 400+ have pre-registered for 4th of July Family Camp at Lake Beauty (July 3-6)!  With that many pre-registrations, we have waiting lists now for all housing areas, including the campgrounds.  Please call and check the latest availability with the Camp Office if you would like to come and camp, as some tent sites (no utilities) may become available (Camp office: 800-732-1990).

Space is still available for families and individuals wanting to join us just for the day Saturday July 4th or Sunday July 5th!  You may register now by calling the camp office at 800-732-1990.  Online registration for 4th of July is closed.  July 4th includes Morning & Evening Chapel sessions with our guest speaker, Scott Peterson (10:30 am & 7:30 pm).  Special activities on Saturday also include the Big Auction (3:30 pm), our wonderful BBQ Supper (5:30 pm) and the Fireworks Extravaganza (10:00 pm).
